Aronoff Center 10th Anniversay Season Opener
World Premiere of TwiNight: from Dracula to Edward 
Friday and Saturday, October 15-16, 2010.  

TwiNight will feature community and pre-professional dancers from age 5-60+, a great soundtrack, stunning sets and costumes and original choreography. The innovative twist on a classic story integrated with today’s pop culture, great music, and new choreography will attract a new, younger, diverse audience.

Lord of the Jungle

On April 15-16, 2011, aim cincinnati brings to life the popular stories of Tarzan through the Edgar Rice Burroughs book series, creatively transformed into an original, fun, family-friendly show that encourages families to read together.  Scripps-Corbett Award winner aim cincinnati presents the original dance production which features a lively variety of music, colorful sets and costumes, original choreography by a collaborative team of local choreographers  and pre-professional, professional and community dancers from 5-60+ years in age.  Activities surround Lord of the Jungle and include a free online Study Guide in English and Spanish; poster and poetry contest; free performances at a variety of public venues, CAA School Time performance on Friday, April 15th  and a book giveaway. A diverse cast that includes community youth and professional lighting, sets and costumes will mesmerize the audience as they encounter life with Tarzan, Jane and all of the inhabitants of the Jungle.

aim cincinnati creates a powerful dance explosion in its Tenth Annual Gala of International Dance Stars at Cincinnati’s premier venue, the Aronoff Center. Featuring the best dancers from the best companies and the best choreography in the world, the Gala of International Dance Stars is a dazzling display of international talent. The only International Dance Gala in Central US attracts audience from the region, the nation and the world. Ancillary events include Gala Global Fare Pre Show Reception with International Cuisine Buffet “Dinner by the Bite”, Skyboxx to the Stars VIP reception with exclusive access to the dancers in rehearsal, and Master Classes presented by Gala Stars. The event inspires and amazes with gravity defying athleticism, dancers’ artistry, traditional and new, cutting edge choreography, remarkable diversity of cast, music and dance styles; and creates new Dance audience, global awareness, worldwide partnerships, shining an international spotlight on Cincinnati USA.  We are proud to have the opportunity to promote cross-cultural understanding and international goodwill through dance.
